With over 15 years of experience working in bike shops, I’ve seen most of the ways that bikes can act up. Locally, dirt and grit in cable housing makes for soggy brakes and slow shifting. Road grime builds on brake pads on wet rides and wear brake pads and rims faster than bikes ridden in dry climates. Slick wet roads also lead to the occasional crash that chews up bar tape, saddles, wheels, and skin. While we can’t help much with the last bit, our fully equipped shop can fix your bike and get it back to like new condition.
What we won’t do is come out of a back room, glance at your bike, and automatically tell you that you need a $50 standard tune up.
We’ll explain and show you what the problem was, how much it will cost to fix, and how you can avoid running into the same problem in the future.
We will not try to hard sell you new components to pad your bill but will instead try to fix the parts you have before replacing them.

If you only need to have your derailleurs adjusted or your brakes tuned, you will be charged according to how long we work on your bike. (minimum charge $15.00

If you want to have something brazed onto your frame (water bottle bosses, rack bosses, disc brake braze-ons, etc.)

Custom wheel building for mountain or road bikes. Lacing patterns, spokes, nipples, and rims can all be customized

A professional fit session with a power meter installed to monitor how changes in position affect your power output at a given heartrate. This requires some time on the trainer.
